Here are answers to commonly asked questions about our Rio Linda Elverta Hometown Christmas Light Parade.
Q: Where do we start?
A: Parade participants should meet at Westside Elementary school, 6537 W 2nd St in Rio Linda. Walking, driving, floats, marching bands, etc should form up along West 2nd Street at Westside Park. please park in the parking lot in front of Westside Elementary.
Q: What about the horses?
A: Equestrians should use the Westside Park parking lot to park trailers, unload, tack up, etc.
Q: What time do we need to be there?
A: PLEASE plan to be at Westside by 5:00pm.
Q: What is the parade route?
A: The parade will begin at Westside Park, continue north on West 2nd Street to M Street. You will then turn right (east) on M Street, continuing to Oak Lane, where you will turn into the Mar Val Plaza parking lot.

Q: Where are the judges going to be?
A: The judges stand will be set up at Depot Park, as is traditional for Rio Linda parades.
